Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was pursuing of a Masters course of Science in Dietetics and Food Service Management from the IGNOU at her study centre at the K.P.C. Medical College and Hospital. In 2022 the college had sent to the IGNOU student Internship Manual Report as required. Several reminders were given. Even duplicate copies were supplied soon thereafter. But there was no response coming from IGNOU. Much later, by a
communication dated 20.05.2024 the IGNOU intimated the petitioner that the maximum duration of five years has expired for the project and, therefore, the same was returned in original. But the Internship Manual Report had already been sent by the College. There is contradiction even with the answer given under the RTI Act about whether the internship manual was received or not.
Learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner denies the contents of the affidavit filed by the University.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University IGNOU submits that the marks for the evaluation of the Internship Manual has already been uploaded in the portal. Only a certificate to that effect is to be issued. The same would be done in due course as expeditiously as possible.
In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the University issue a final grade card and the mark-sheet of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon completion of all necessary formalities. With these observations, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
