The petitioner complains that the private respondents are illegally carrying on mining on a lease granted in favour of the petitioner. He has complained in this regard to the police.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is purely civil in nature. Appropriate civil or statutory remedies may be obtained by the petitioner in this regard.

The Murarai Police Station, Birbhum shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

6.

The report of the Murarai Police Station dated 25.09.2022 is kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
