For the Intervener The grievance of the petitioners is directed against the illegal acquisition of the subject premises by the respondent authorities. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the subject land acquisition proceedings have not yet been completed and appropriate direction be passed on the State Authorities. The petitioners rely on a reply issued by the State authorities under the Right to Information Act.

It is submitted on behalf of the State that the subject premises is vested land and there is no scope of passing any order in favour of the petitioners. Mr. Ghosh appears on behalf of the subsequent transferee owner of the subject premises and submits that all relevant facts have been suppressed by the petitioners in this petition.

Heard the parties. I am of the view that in the light of the letter dated 6th August, 2019 (Annexure P12 to the writ petition) inter alia, recording that the subject premises is vested land, there is no merit in the case of the petitioners. It is evident that the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the subject premises have been concluded.

In view of the aforesaid, W.P.A. 19785 of 2019 along with CAN 1 2020 stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
