Having considered the materials on record particularly the statement of the minor victim girl implicating the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault, we are of the opinion, in view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner, this is not a fit case to grant bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
