Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner's application for electricity to operate his submersible pump has not been acceded to by the WBSEDCL.

A report is filed by learned counsel for the WBSEDCL which indicates that four electricity poles are required to be installed for the purpose of giving connection to the petitioner.

The WBSEDCL seeks three months' time to complete such work due to the ongoing paddy season. 4.

In view of such submission and keeping the report on record, WPA 21531 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to give electricity connection to the petitioner, subject to the petitioner complying with all formalities and making due payments as per the estimate

raised by the WBSEDCL, within three months from the date of compliance of such formalities by the petitioner. 5.

Such estimate shall be raised by the WBSEDCL within a fortnight from date and a copy thereof be served on the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
