We have considered the materials on record.

Uncontroverted allegations in the impugned charge-sheet show that victim had been physically assaulted resulting in excessive bleeding from nose.

It was contended that the petitioner and the victim were good friends and the matter has been resolved. In light of this submission State was directed to submit report.

State submits reports enclosing statement of the victim. Victim unequivocally states that the parties have not resolved their dispute.

In light of the aforesaid fact and the uncontroverted allegations which disclose cognizable offences I am of the opinion no case

for interference is made out. It is open to the petitioner to canvass his defence at the appropriate stage of the proceedings in accordance with law.

C.R.R. No. 3778 of 2024 stands disposed of accordingly.
