The R. G. Kar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata submitted a report indicating that the petitioner does not have a squint. The vision in the right eye is 6/6 whereas the left eye is 6/9. 2.

The respondents have held that the petitioner, who had 6/9 in so far as his right eye is concerned, has a squint. The R. G. Kar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, however, says there is no squint. 3.

Unless the petitioner has undergone a medical correction test of his squint in between August, 2023 and 8th January, 2024, this squint found by the DME and RME cannot vanish.

In the above circumstances, this Court only directs the respondents to conduct a fresh review medical examination and take a decision in the matter as regards the medical fitness of the petitioner to serve in the CRPF.

Let the aforesaid exercise be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
