The petitioner was on bail in connection with Sessions case no. 24 of 2017 and warrant of arrest was issued against him on 9th July, 2024 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Chandannagar, Hooghly since he was found absent without steps. The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned trial Court within seven days from date. If the petitioner surrenders before the learned Additional Sessions Judge within seven days from date and files an application for bail, the learned Judge shall consider the same in accordance with law.

Warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner be stayed till 4th October, 2024.

In the event if the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Additional Sessions Judge within the stipulated time frame, the learned Judge shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioner in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.

CRR 3785 of 2024 is disposed of.
