1. This writ petition has been filed allegedly by a person who claims to have interest in the property in question, with the allegation that the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company had allowed the respondent nos.4 to 6 to tamper the meter and also split the load.

2. Learned advocate for the distribution company submits that three different floors were being used by three families. They were running three establishments, separately. In view of separation of user, meters were given to the respondent nos.4, 5 and 6. Thus, the allegation of splitting of load was found to be incorrect.

3. It is further submitted that an inspection was held in the premises in question and tampering of the meter/theft of electricity, was not detected.

4. Under such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of without any orders. If the authority finds illegal use of electricity in future, steps shall be taken in accordance with law. A copy of the

inspection report be supplied to the petitioner. The locus of the petitioner is not disclosed in the pleadings.

5. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

6. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
