1. This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of wife/petitioner praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 12th Court at Alipore, South 24-Parganas to dispose of the application for enhancement of maintenance filed on 10th February 2021 in Matrimonial Suit No. 28 of 2015 expeditiously.

2. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the application for enhancement of maintenance is pending from the year 2021 and the learned trial Judge without disposing of the same is proceeding with the hearing of the said suit.

3. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite party or upon the learned Advocate representing the opposite party before the learned trial judge.

4. Considering the fact that an application for enhancement of maintenance is pending, the learned Additional District Judge, 12th Court at Alipore, South 24-Parganas is requested to take up the application for enhancement of maintenance on the next date fixed and to dispose of the same as

expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the next date fixed, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing.

5. In view thereof, CO 3387 of 2025 stands disposed of.
