Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were falsely implicated. The petitioners did not pay any role in the alleged forgery. It was the deceased husband who, if at all, was guilty.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioners obtained credit facilities from a financial institution on the basis of the forged deed of conveyance.

Apparently, a financial institution was persuaded to grant credit facilities on the basis of forged deed of conveyance. There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioners. At this stage, it cannot be said with certainty that the petitioners are not the beneficiaries of the credit facilities so advanced or are not embroiled in the forgery as alleged as against them. Therefore, need for custodial interrogation of the petitioners cannot be overlooked.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 4584 of 2022 is dismissed.
