Petitioner complains that she is aged about 78 years old and has been thrown away by the respondent nos.5 and 6 being the son and the daughter-in-law.

Learned advocate for the State submits that Narendrapur P.S. Case No.1083 of 2025 was registered on 11.09.2025 pursuant to the information which was received by the concerned police station. In case the petitioner intends to enter her residence, petitioner would inform the local police station who would provide necessary escort. If after entering the residence, there are any change of circumstances which causes inconveniences to the petitioner and is complained to the local police authorities, they would ensure that such

inconveniences are not faced by the petitioner. Such arrangements would continue for a period of 45 days. Within the aforesaid period of 45 days, petitioner better be advised to approach the Maintenance Tribunal under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007. If any direction is passed by the concerned Tribunal, police authorities would respect, obey and implement such order.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21711 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
