1. This matter is brought before the Court today for disposal, having been placed under the heading 'To Be Mentioned.'

2. The Learned Advocate for the Petitioner brings to the Court's notice the necessity of correcting an inadvertent typographical error concerning the representation of parties recorded in the Order dated September 25, 2025.

3. Upon reviewing the record, this court finds that an inadvertent typographical error concerning representation parties requires rectification.

Accordingly, appearances recorded in the Order dated September 25, 2025, are hereby corrected as follows:

4. The Learned Advocates Ms. Purnima Panda and Mr. S.M. Siddiqui appeared for the de facto complainant.

5. The Learned Advocates Ms. Shanta Sarkar, Mr. A. J. Chanda, and Ms. Sudipa Das appeared for the Petitioner.

6. The Order dated September 25, 2025, shall stand corrected mutatis mutandis and shall be read conjointly with this present Order.

7. The Petitioner, Sun Naskar, seeks the quashing of proceedings arising from Narendrapur P.S.

Case No. 414 of 2025 (G.R. No. 2372/2025), pursuant to an amicable settlement with the Complainant/Opposite Party No. 2, Sayan Maiti.

8. The plea for quashing is founded upon supporting documents and decisive evidences indicating the amicable resolution of the criminal proceedings.

9. A Joint Compromise Petition (CRAN 1 of 2025) has been filed, bearing the signatures of both the accused Petitioner and Complainant/Opposite Party No. 2, explicitly praying for the quashing of the proceedings.

10. The Learned Advocate for the State submitted a Report Inspector-in-Charge,

Narendrapur Police Station, which is taken on record. This report includes the statement of the Complainant, Sayan Maiti, confirming the settlement.

11. An independent written application submitted by the Complainant to the Inspector-in-Charge, expressing resolution dispute amicably, is also annexed to the record.

12. The Learned Advocate for Opposite Party No. 2 confirms the compromise through amicable settlement and raises no objection.

13. In view complete and conclusive settlement, substantially supported by the joint CRAN application and the official reports, this Court holds that the continuation of the criminal proceeding constitutes a flagrant abuse of the process of law.

14. Accordingly, the pending G.R. No. 2372/2025 arising out of Narendrapur P.S. Case No. 414 of 2025 is hereby QUASHED on the basis of the Joint Compromise Petition filed by the accused Petitioner, Sun Naskar, and Complainant/Opposite Party No. 2, Sayan Maiti.

15. The Revisional Application along with CRAN 1 of 2025 are disposed of.

16. The interim order, if any, stands vacated forthwith.

17. Let a copy of this Order be communicated forthwith to Learned Trial Court for information and necessary action.

18. Photostat certified copies of this Order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
