This is an application under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code for quashing of proceeding pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Contai and the Charge Sheet No.18 of 2006 dated 26th February, 2006 under Section 498A/313/303 of the Indian Penal Code arising out of Egra PS Case No.179 of 2005 dated 20.12.2005.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

3. It appears that pursuant to the direction of a coordinate Bench of this Court Administrative Notice was also issued upon the petitioner but no service return was received. The matter is pending since long and is running in the Warning List for long. Accordingly, this Court is of the view that nothing remains to keep the matter pending. Let the matter be dismissed for default.
