1. Upon perusing the reports dated September 10, 2024 and September 30, 2024, filed on behalf of the Narcotics Control Bureau, we find that on several occasions, the matter had to be adjourned before the learned trial Court because of prayer made on behalf of the defence or non-production of accused persons. It is not the fault of the prosecution that there is some delay in progress of the trial. We find that Signed By :

charge has been framed on July 22, 2024. We are told that there are six charge sheet named witnesses.

2. In view of the commercial quantity of contraband items (88 kgs. of Ganza) being involved, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage.

3. The application for bail is, thus, dismissed.

4. Since the petitioner is in custody for quite some time, we request the learned trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent possible and conclude the same on an early date.

5. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

6. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
