Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the State submits, upon instruction, that the victim lady namely, Mandira Pal Haldar was recovered from Andhra Pradesh and was produced before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Malda on 22nd September, 2023 and her statement was recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Mr. Chatterjee further submits that the victim lady is presently residing at a government shelter home, namely, SHAKTI SADAN at Nagar, Block-Khargram under Kandi Sub-Division, District Murshidabad. Let the report, as filed, be kept on record.

As the victim lady has already been recovered, no further interference is called for in the present habeas corpus petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
