Sri Rambabu Shaw Mr. Arnab Roy Ms. Sayani Ahmed...........for the petitioner This is an application for expeditious hearing of a petition under section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997.

It appears from record that hearing of the said petition has been fixed on January 10, 2024. On a query of the Court, Mr. Roy submits that no written objection to such application has yet been filed. He prays for fixing of a time limit for filing of such objection.

As prayed for by Mr. Roy, the petitioner will be at liberty to file written objection to the application under section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 on or before November 30, 2023. If the application under section 7(2) of the Act is ready for hearing, the learned trial Judge shall take up hearing of the application under section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 on January 10, 2024 and dispose of the same as

expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties expeditiously upon usual formalities.
