The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the police authorities have not taken any steps pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner by a letter dated 21st of June, 2024. It is not in dispute that alleging inaction on the part of the police authorities, the petitioner approached the concerned Magistrate under Section 156(3) CrPC.

However, such application was dismissed.

In view thereof this Court is not inclined to grant any relief in favour of the petitioner. The report of the Officer-in-Charge, Mohanpur Police Station dated 9th of September, 2024 is taken on record.

With the above observations and directions the writ petition is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
