State has submitted a the report which reflects that the Hon'ble High Court directed the petitioner to meet with the Officer-in-charge of English Bazar Police Station on every alternate day. But, instead of the same, the petitioner met once in a week.

However, the direction was passed on 17th December, 2024. More than 13 months have passed since then.

As the report is not in compliance with the order of the Hon'ble High Court, I direct that the petitioner would, as a matter of caution, meet with the Officer-in-charge of English Bazar Police Station on every alternate day for a period of three months. If there is compliance for the next

three months, the learned CJM, Malda will waive the conditions earlier imposed.

Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.
