Despite service, no one appears on behalf of the private respondents.

Report filed on behalf of the State is also taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioner no. 1 and 2 are the owners of the entire piece of land in question. The private respondents are the adjacent land owners who are trying to grab the petitioners' property. This was brought to the notice of the police authorities, but no action was taken.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the States submits as follows. A civil dispute exists between the private parties. On the complaints of the petitioners the police authorities have already

initiated proceeding under Section 107 of the Code. It appears that a civil dispute exists between the private parties.

The police have already acted on the complaint of the petitioners by initiating a proceeding under Section 107 of the Code.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

However, the police shall maintain a sharp vigil in the locale, ensure that no breach of peace takes place and also see to it that no order of a civil court is violated.

With these observations, the writ application is disposed of.
