Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for electricity connection but the same has not yet been given by the CESC Limited.

It is contended by learned counsel for the CESC Limited that the CESC has already conducted an inspection and issued an offer letter to the petitioner. 3.

Upon compliance of all formalities in terms of the offer letter and otherwise, the CESC Limited shall give such connection.

Since learned counsel for the petitioner pleads ignorance regarding the said offer letter, the learned Advocate-on-record for the CESC shall serve a copy of the offer letter to his counterpart appearing for the petitioner by tomorrow, that is, December 6, 2023.

The petitioner shall thereupon comply with all formalities and pay the requisite amount on the basis of the offer letter.

Within a fortnight from the date of such compliance, the CESC Limited shall give a new electricity connection to the petitioner from the existing meter board position at the concerned premises.

Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to file her affidavit-of-service during the course of the day. 8.

WPA 21626 of 2023 is accordingly disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
