Case No. 869 of 2021 arising out of Chapra Mohila P.S. Case No. 9 of 2021 under sections 354(B)/354(D)/504/506 of the IPC pending before the Ld. CJM, Paschim Bardhaman. The records of the case reflect that by an order dated 8.6.2023, the ld. District Judge, Paschim Bardhaman observed that there is no translator from Hindi to English in the Judgeship.

Accordingly, the District Judge, Paschim Bardhaman is directed to ascertain regarding the availability of such translator in the office of the District Magistrate or the office of the Superintendent of Police, Paschim Bardhaman.

The translator after being selected will complete the work of translation and there should be certification regarding the truth or correctness of the same. The ld. trial court will thereafter consider the charges and the take the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

So far as the translation is concerned, the same may be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3422 of 2023 along with CRAN 1 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
