1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.
2. We have considered the materials on record. We are informed trial is at its fag end. Cross-examination of the investigating officer is in progress.
3. In view of the materials on record and as the accusation, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
5. Trial court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within six months from the next date fixed of recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
6. Parties shall communicate this order to the trial court for necessary compliance.
