1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The instant writ petition has been filed, inter alia, complaining failure on the part of the Cooperation Department as also the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to take appropriate action in connection with the alleged irregularities committed by the secretary of Asha Sangha Swanirvar Mahila Prathamik Bahumukhi Samaday Limited.

3. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and noting that the petitioners has an alternative remedy in the form of settlement of dispute by filing

appropriate application before the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, under Section 102 of the West Bengal Cooperative Societies Act, 2006, having regard to the fact that the contention of the petitioners pertains to disputes concerning the management or business or affairs of the cooperative society, I am of the view that the petitioner ought to have approached the Registrar of Cooperative Society by filing a dispute case in appropriate form.

4. Having regard thereto, I may note, in the event the petitioners file a dispute case with the concerned Registrar of Cooperative Societies, West Bengal, within a period of two weeks from date in appropriate form, the Registrar shall be obliged to take cognizance of such dispute case and dispose of the same in accordance with law.

5. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
