Petitioners have complained to the Officer-inCharge, Joynagar Police Station that on or about 04.05.2025 they have been threatened and abused with derogatory languages by the private respondents when they went for cultivating their land. To that effect, information was sent to the Police Station on or about 08.08.2025.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that there is suppression of material facts as title suit is pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 3rd Court, Baruipur.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS on or about 27.08.2025.

Having considered that a long standing property dispute is existing between the petitioners and the private respondents and the police authorities are well aware regarding the same, I direct the police authorities to keep a strict surveillance and to ensure that there is no violation of law and order. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21875 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
