It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners applied for transfer of route of auto rickshaws in respect of which they hold valid permits. The petitioners submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authority on July 15, 2023 which is still pending.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that during pendency of the writ petition Form II has been issued by the authority to the petitioners pursuant to their representations. The forms have been submitted before the authority by the petitioners despite which no decision has been taken by the authority till date. The petitioners pray for consideration of their representation at the earliest. Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, this Court is inclined to hold that since the authority has taken appropriate steps pursuant to the representation submitted by the petitioners, the concerned authority being the respondent no. 2 herein, be

directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated July 15, 2023 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
