In the instant revisional application has been filed for quashing of the proceeding and as also the order dated 21.06.2011 passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Contai, Purba Medinipur, in connection with Khejuri Police Station Case No. 194 of 2009 dated 29.06.2009 under Sections 147/148/149/448/379/427/436/506 of the Indian Penal Code giving rise to G.R. Case No 546 of 2009. The petitioners as well as de-facto complainant/opposite party No. 2 had filed an application being CRAN 2/2013 (Old No. CRAN 564 of 2013) inter alia stating that during the pendency of the revisional application an amicable settlement has been arrived by and between the parties and the same has been mentioned in paragraphs 8,9 and 10 of the said application.

The charges under Sections 147/148/149/448/379/427/436/506 of the Indian Penal Code between the parties do not involve public policy. Under the

provisions of Section 320 of the Cr.P.C. the instant revisional application can be compounded.

The quashing of the proceeding being Khejuri Police Station Case No. 194 of 2009 dated 29.06.2009 under Sections 147/148/149/448/379/427/436/506 of the Indian Penal Code giving rise to G.R. Case No 546 of 2009 is quashed. The instant revisional application and the application being CRAN 2/2013 (Old No. CRAN 564 of 2013) are, accordingly, disposed of.

Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned trial court immediately for information. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
