None appears for the petitioner at the time of call. No accommodation has been sought for either. The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to return a sum of Rs. 5 lakh. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the police authorities. The copy of the FIR has been annexed to the writ petition wherefrom it appears that pursuant to the complaint, Purulia Muffasil Police Station Case No. 214/2024 dated 6th of June, 2024 has been registered.

Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the State files a copy of the report of the Inspector-inCharge, Purulia (M) Police Station dated 8th of September, 2024, which is taken on record,

wherefrom it appears that Purulia (M) P.S.

Chargesheet No. 175/2024 dated June 30, 2024 has been filed after completion of investigation. Nothing further remains to be decided in this writ petition. The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps before the jurisdictional court in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions the writ petition is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.
