This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendant and is directed against an order dated June 13, 2023 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 2nd Court, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur.

It appears from the record that the application for appointment of a hand-writing expert has been filed at a belated stage that is at the stage of argument. 3.

The learned Trial Judge assigned cogent reasons for rejecting the application for appointment of the handwriting expert. 4.

This Court is, therefore, not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the learned Trial Judge.

In view thereof, C.O. 3134 of 2023 stands dismissed. 6.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
