The Secretary, Tangra to Howrah Minibus Owners' Welfare Association of Route No. S-166 requested an alteration in the route alignment by a proposal submitted before the authority. The resolution indicates that the proposed route alignment was forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Lalbazar for opinion from the traffic point of view.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits written instruction which demonstrates that the prayer for route diversion of route S-166 has been rejected by the authority in the board meeting held on 26.07.2022. In view of the above, the grievance of the petitioner having been redressed, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition and the writ petition be disposed of accordingly.
With the above observations this writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be, however, no order as to costs.
Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
