Report filed by the Chairperson, Kharagpur Municipality dated 5th June, 2024 is taken on record. It appears therefrom that a joint inspection was conducted. The signature of the persons present at the time of joint inspection has been obtained but the petitioner refused to sign the attendance sheet. The report mentions that the pipe line in question is being used for discharging rain water by the respondents. The pipeline was constructed upon taking permission from the Municipality.

A separate soak pit was found for discharging waste water from the soak pit tank. There are soak pits within the premises of the respondent no.4 for

discharging domestic waste water and all the soak pits are in functional condition. The municipal drain was found dry and its bed was covered with green grass. No unbearable smell was felt at the time of inspection. Local inhabitants did not raise any objection regarding health and hygiene.

The petitioner is dissatisfied with the inspection report that has been filed and the findings that have been recorded in the said report.

It will be open for the petitioner to avail all remedies available to him in law to challenge the report filed by the Municipality.

There is no requirement for proceeding with the review application any further.

The same stands disposed of.
