The Writ Petitioners approach this Court praying for directing the respondent authority, the Birbhum District Primary School Council to appoint the Petitioners as Primary School teachers in the District Birbhum immediately without any further delay as per panel prepared from the senior and over aged candidates.

None appears on behalf of either of the parties. No accommodation is sought for.

This case pertains to year 2009 and pending for more than 15 years.

Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency of this case, this Court proposes to dispose of this case.

After passage of time either petitioners' purpose has been solved or they have abandoned their prayer. 6.

In view of the facts, the W.P.A. 16908 of 2009 is, thus, dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

8.

There shall be no order as to costs.
