The petitioner complains of investigation into the FIR No. 509 of 2022 dated August 2, 2022. It is submitted that in course of investigation, Section 376 of the IPC has been added and the brother-inlaw has been arrested. 2.

It is ordered that the investigation into the subject FIR be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from date, if not already done.

The Chakdah Police Station and/or S.P. Ranaghat Police District, Nadia shall consider appropriate protection to the petitioner, in the event of any request being made in this regard.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
