The petitioners are in custody for 18 days and pray for bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they have been falsely implicated. No injury was sustained by the police personnel.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

Police personnel have been assaulted by the petitioners. They have allegedly obstructed the police personnel in performing their official duty. Investigation is still in progress. Considering the material on record, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application for bail is disposed of.
