The petitioner says that he has been falsely implicated. He has absolutely no role to play in the alleged offence. He is in custody for 227 days. Investigation is complete and charge sheet has been submitted but charge has not been framed. He prays for bail.

Opposing the prayer for bail, learned State Advocate draws our attention to the materials in the case diary including the statement of the victim lady recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. The allegation is that the petitioner sold the victim lady to other accused persons. 3.

In view of the serious allegation of human trafficking and gang rape, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM (DB) 2966 of 2024 is dismissed.

However, we request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent the business of the Court may permit.
