The petitioner complains of alleged inaction by the Uluberia Police Station, Howrah.

A report dated 30th January, 2023 issued by the Inspector-in-Charge, Uluberia Police Station, Howrah has been filed before this Court and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that the matter is pending before the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Uluberia, Howrah for disposal. The petitioner may pursue appropriate remedies before such Court. A further complaint dated 21st August, 2022 was also investigated and proceedings under Section 107 of the CrPC have been taken out.

It appears from the report that the respondent No.4 has registered a complaint against the petitioner that was registered as FIR against the petitioner under Sections 498A, 307, 34 of the IPC. The said FIR has resulted in a charge sheet being Uluberia P.S. C/S No.307/21 dated 30th December, 2021.

This Court does not find any inaction on the part of the Uluberia Police. In respect of any further

complaint against the private respondents by the petitioner, it is ordered that FIR shall forthwith be registered.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
