The order dated 10th September, 2025, passed by the learned single Judge, has been carried in appeal before us. By the said order the learned single Judge had directed that the petitioner, who had inadvertently filled up a form as a candidate in Bengali (PG), whereas it ought to have English (PG), would be permitted to sit for the 2nd SLST Selection Test to be held on 14th September, 2025 at a centre which would be convenient to the writ petitioner/respondent no.1 herein.

Mr. Bandopadhyay, learned senior advocate appearing for the appellants apprised us that pursuant to the

direction of the learned single Judge, an admit card has been issued by the concerned authority in compliance of the directions of the learned single Judge dated 10th September, 2025. Let a copy of the admit card, as placed, be kept on record.

In view of the aforestated, the present appeal and the application for stay have become infructuous and are hereby dismissed.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
