Banerjee) Mr. Gopal Chandra Ghosh, Sr. Advocate Mr. Rajkrishna Mondal Ms. Sunanda Saha ...for the petitioners This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the applicant in a proceeding for revocation of the grant of probate being Misc. Case No. 200 of 2015 (Revocation) arising out of Misc. Case No. 93 of 2010 (Probate) praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 7th Court at Barasat to dispose of the revocation case expeditiously. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned trial judge.

From the order-sheets appended to this application this court finds that the revocation proceeding is pending for further cross-examination of PW-1.

Mr. Ghosh, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that repeated dates have been fixed for cross-examination of PW-1. He further submits that the last date for cross-examination of PW-1 was fixed on June 21, 2025.

In the light of the submissions made by Mr. Ghosh, learned Senior Advocate, CO 3181 of 2024 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge 7th Court at Barasat to make an endeavour to dispose of the Miscellaneous Case No. 200 of 2015 (Revocation) as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the next date fixed.

This order has been passed taking note of the fact that the revocation for grant of probate is pending from the year 2015.
