Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners sought certain information to ensure transparency in the procedure whereby the petitioners turned out to be unsuccessful in an examination held by the respondent.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondents are already in the process of dealing with the representation of the petitioners which is annexed to the writ petition and the same has been forwarded to the District Project Officer, ICDS, Hooghly.

In such view of the matter, WPA 21740 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.3 to ensure that the representation of the petitioners annexed to the writ petition are considered within an outer limit of a fortnight from date and the outcome thereof be communicated to the petitioners immediately thereafter.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
