Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner complains that after the death of her husband, she and her son are being subjected to torture at the behest of the respondent no.7 being the mother-in-law with the aid of the other respondents. To that effect, information was furnished to the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that over the complaint of the writ petitioner, Durgapur P.S.

Case No.373 of dated 09.09.2025 has been registered for investigation under Sections 85/3(5) of BNS.

Having considered that the investigation of the case is in progress as the same has been very recently registered, petitioner would address rest of the grievances before the investigating officer and/or the jurisdictional court in seisin of Durgapur P.S. Case No.373 of 2025.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22038 of 2025 is disposed of. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. There will be no order as to costs.
