The petitioner in the instant writ petition has challenged the order passed by the respondent authority in declaring the writ petitioner to be not qualified on the ground that his measurement is 169.6 cm as the qualifying limit is 170 cm.

The learned advocate for the petitioner also relies upon the order passed in WPA 22418 of 2025 wherein it is observed by the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court that applying the provisions of Clause 2(d) of the Medical Guideline, 169.5 cm should be rounded to the next higher centimeter standard height, which is 170 cm

being the qualification prescribed under the Selection Rule.

In view of the order dated 25th September, 2025 passed by the Coordinate Bench in WPA 22418 of 2025, the order declaring the petitioner as not qualified is set aside and the petitioner is directed to be treated as qualified.

The prayer of stay is considered and refused. 8.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 9.
