Ms. Anita Kaunda ...for the petitioner Mr. Sounak Bhattacharya Mr. Saikat Sen ...for respondent no.1 Mr. Sandipan Banerjee Mr. Sobhon Majumder ...for Durgapur Municipal Corporation It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed on June 7, 2001, at Palashdiha Health Centre run by Durgapur Municipal Corporation as a Medical Attendant, on contractual basis. He receives Rs.5,750/- (rupees five thousand seven hundred and fifty only) per month as his salary. As per the applicable Government Circular, he is entitled to get a higher salary. It appears that the petitioner has made a representation before the Commissioner, Durgapur Municipal Corporation by a letter dated October 11, 2022, for enhancement of his salary and other allowances.

The said representation has not yet been considered.

In the above facts, I dispose of this writ petition giving a direction to the Commissioner, Durgapur Municipal Corporation to consider the representation

dated October 11, 2022, within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 21755 of 2023 is disposed of.
