The petitioner renews his prayer for bail which was rejected by this Bench on June 25, 2024, in CRM (NDPS) 980 of 2024. While dismissing the bail application, we had directed the learned Trial Court to conclude the trial at the earliest and positively within six months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The next date fixed was July 5, 2024. Therefore, the learned Trial Court has still time till the end of the year to conclude the trial. This is a premature application. Signed By :
