Petitioner submitted a representation dated August 6, 2021 before various authorities requesting them to take appropriate steps regarding encroachment of land of the petitioner. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in not communicating their decision to the petitioner till date.

Standing Counsel appearing for the State submits that the decision on such representation shall be communicated to the petitioner within the time limit as may be fixed by this Court.

Without entering into the merit of the claim made by the petitioner in the representation dated August 6, 2025, this writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Executive Engineer, West Bengal State Rural Development Authority, South

Parganas, being the 10th respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner and t odispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, or any other who may be affected by such decision or their authorized representative and communicate such reasoned order to the petitioner immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of 12 weeks from the receipt of a server copy of this order. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
