The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail. On 12.09.2024 in CRM (A) 3225 of 2024, it was submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he undertook to deposit 50 per cent of the amount provisionally assessed by WBSEDCL within four weeks from date. Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary, this Court was pleased to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, inter alia, on the condition to make such payment of 50 per cent of the amount as undertaken. However, due to financial stringencies, the petitioner could not comply with the said order till date. It is now submitted that the petitioner is in a position to comply with the Court's order and honor his undertaking given before this Court. He undertakes to make the payment of 50 per cent of the said sum within two weeks from this date.

Heard the learned counsels for the State and the WBSEDCL.
