The writ petition is directed against an order dated September 4, passed by the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal in OA 204 of 2015.

By the impugned order, The Tribunal directed reworking of the seniority in the gradation list. We are informed that, during the pendency of the present writ petition so far as the private respondent is concerned, government issued a notification dated May 31, 2022 creating a supernumerary post for the private respondent.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, in view of such notification, since his clients are no longer affected, his clients do not wish to press with the present writ petition.

In such circumstances, WP.ST 156 of 2019 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
