mentions 86 witnesses. The trial should be concluded within six months.

2. Prima facie, we find sufficient incriminating material against this petitioner. The alleged offence is heinous in nature. We are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

3. The application for bail is, thus, dismissed.

4. Since the State has stated in its report that the trial should be concluded within six months, we request the learned trial Judge to make all endeavours to conclude the trial within the time period indicated in the status report. In the event the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

5. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

6. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
