In terms of the order dated 28th February, 2022 the respondent/Kolkata Municipal Corporation has filed a report in the form of an affidavit dated 4th January, 2023 pointing out the steps taken by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation for implementation of the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and West Bengal Urban Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation Street Vending) Rules, 2018. The report is taken on record.

We hope and trust that whatever has been stated in the report is to be implemented by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation with utmost seriousness.

With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
