It has been alleged that the funds meant for the projects have not been utilized and the funds have been misappropriated by including the names of persons in the job card who are not the residents of the village concerned and payments have been made without the work being done.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the grievances were raised by the petitioner by submitting representation dated 25.03.2022, but the petitioner is ready to file a fresh written representation before the concerned District Magistrate.
Learned counsel for the State does not dispute that the grievances raised by the petitioner needs consideration.
WPA(P) 489 of 2022 Therefore, we dispose of the present petition granting liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed comprehensive representation along with all the supporting material before the respondent No.3 (The District Magistrate, Howrah), who will consider the grievances of the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
Let this exercise be completed by respondent No.3 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of the representation.
The present petition is accordingly disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
