1. Petitioner-husband has prayed for expeditious disposal of the maintenance proceeding instituted by opposite party-wife. It is pleaded interim order of maintenance was passed in 2018. In CRR 44 of 2022 an Hon'ble Judge directed the proceeding to be concluded at an early date. However, the proceeding is still continuing.

2. In light of the aforesaid pleading I direct in the event petitioner pays the outstanding dues and continues to pay interim maintenance as directed to the opposite party-wife, the trial court shall take necessary steps for disposal of the proceeding at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
